On MU they‘re serious, but it‘s very competitive and not personal. It‘s the way I prefer it, actually. What I crave is a game with everyone trying hard, everyone being dealt a fair hand and after the game you can laugh and feel proud of yourself regardless of the outcome. This is how a competition is supposed to be. Not you overworking yourself and still losing because of bullshit.

Flower, if anyone got thrown personal shit in mafia it is me. You know damn well what happened and 90% of people didn't even bother hearing me out and my side, i was a boogie man for a long time. Props to those that actually reached out to me and asked what happened
If you want my advice, if smth is bothering you, obviously ruining your mood and god forbid health, cut it like a tumor and walk away. It is what I did to people that were being cunts to me and it has been an improvement in mood alone.
Don't bother saying this and that, cut it in roots and walk away. Other place and people will be happy to have you (tho you will still watch movies with us)
We did talk. That already happened. Nothing changed. All he does is try arguing against it, trying to tell me I'm wrong. My feelings are my own. And if I feel a certain way, I feel a certain way. Feelings can't ever be wrong. You can have different views, but everyone has a right their feelings are respected. If anyone tells you they're upset you don't f***ing tell them to suck it up. Especially when you know that other person is sensitive and takes things to heart more than other people do.
flowa ratchet can be abrasive or a**hole or jerk sometimes in the midst of the mafia battlefield but tbf to him he does not just go out there to hurt anyone. as someone who has argued with him or clashed playstyles countless times i can tell that there may be some misunderstanding of his intention on your part.
for instance in weebs mafia chat the hosts did not know u had heart problems and intentionally decided to troll u. the moment u told them that they immedietly dropped it and apologized.
at the same time players like him or me may accidently find themselevs hurting ur feelings just maybe from the nature of how we view things or strongly belive in what we view and try to treat everyone in equal light
i agree with u that the setups recently have all been annoying to play
there seems to be lots of focus on creativity than gameplay
generally speaking super role madness lost its coolness long ago and now it sometimes feels like just a simulation that runs on its own. u just happened to be on the receiving end for too many games in a row

That is what I have been saying for over a year now. SRM loses it's appeal because everyone tries to host one. Also alot get's hosted back to back and everyone waits their turn to live out their creativity.
I think people should actually not shy back from collabing more often, maybe reduce the amount of SRMs hosted/queued that way and maybe host more normal games back to back or parallel.
As for that I am currently drafting a project where I host the same game on the same forum twice. Maybe an open role madness one.
15 players each game. And 48 hours days/nights. During the night you can spectate the day of the other game.
That way I want to give people a chance to avoid certain players for a game, while all players still play together in a way. And maybe it helps us to understand each other better due to the spectating.
Tho I would need a co-host for that game and commitful players.
From what I've seen it feels like everyone is trying to make the same type of SRM game. My types of games have been emulated alot here. In an attempt to one up the previous SRM power creep has kicked in. You can be given a decent to good role and then find out Mafia has either twice as much abilities or abilities that straight up make your role useless.
I can see why people would get turned off by those types of games let alone back to back ones. I have some game set ups in mind that will bring some variety back to these types of SRM games. My Batman game will kickstart this cinematic mafia run. Set up has been finished since Feb. I'm just waiting till April to get it out of queue to begin it

What SRM setup has been annoying to play lately exactly? No one complained about my One Piece Mafia Mash game, literally nobody. What other SRM setup happened afterwards? Weebs? Thats the only other one.
If people wanna play RM games, more power to them but dont come out spewing bullshit and shit on SRM because you dont like it or whatever. Its frankly insulting and stupid.
I would like to ask to not fake mention that you were tagged.
If that were true, that would be fair.
But posting there saying that you were tagged when you were not it's not right. If you feel that things were mishandled there, you have the chat here and when the game ends to share your thoughts.
Until then please refrain from posting in the game thread. No need to make excuses to post there and show how you feel.
I literally came back from a long hiatus and my One Piece game garnered 38 players and rejuvenated this section. Tired of people shitting on SRM broadly when there are people who actually work their hardest to make them fun, enjoyable and interesting.
Fuck off @Ekkologix and honestly @Rej you literally told me my OP setup was fun and balanced so lets not paint all SRM games under the same brush huh?

Let's not focus on the negativity here, SRM can be meme'd on but I don't believe the intention is discredit the effort behind it. Ekko has been very anti-SRM since Weebs, I don't think he intends it as a refurendum on all SRM games.
Rough day today I think for us, let's draw a line there and move on.

I dont have a problem with Ekkos negativity, I have a problem with him lying and saying all recent SRM setups have been annoying to play when the only ones that happened were Indie bros game , mine who he literally ghosted and Weebs.
I do not appreciate being told on when I have been a helpful member of this community, helped it grow and am trying to keep it going.
