Kaido should lose his title as the strongest creature. Low diffed by Magma and outpotrayed by Red hair Shanks haki feats.

Such a shame

:pepecafe:
The only reason luffy is still alive is because of plot and multiple people fighting with him…and get he still ended up like Kidd 4 times in one arc

now we are seeing what it’s like to face thes yonkos alone without help and they are getting demolished

don’t forget the 2+ power ups and rest and eating luffy got before defeating kaido

Who is stronger
1. Shanks without his sword shooting CoC beams
2. Shanks infusing that same CoC into his supreme grade blade and using it with his tremendous skill
It will depend on the amount of CoC.

Remember: Haki is a power that doesn't have a number scale to measure it. And Rayleigh defined Haoshoku as the manifestation of the spirit of a user.

So, on both options, will just depend on the amount of Haoshoku infused and probably, the distance. Then the blade turns out to be better to canalize the power (considering two equal quantities of Haoshoku).

- Luffy beats the shit out of Saturn and tries escaping
- We see an awakened smoker pin him down similar to Lougetown
- A silhouette finishes Saturn off
- In an AMAZING triple page spread we see Monkey D Dragon appear behind smoker like in his introduction

And this chapter made me think the only reason we saw kaido got hit so much was because of his skin and durability and he likes playing, someone like shanks, mihawk doesn’t have time to play and just goes straight serious

Dragon showed a glimpse of his power way before Shanks, pre TS when he summoned a storm in Logue Town and in Luffy's flashback when he created an entrance through the burning district.

Also, Shanks had much more built up than Dragon.

That's why Shanks is considered swordsman. Because swordsmen channel their Haki through the blade. There would be no point for a skilled swordsman with a Meito to prefer using Haki without his sword rather than with the sword, unless the swordsman wants to humiliate his opponent, like Mihawk using a butter knife.

Agreed.

Always thought that Shanks is indeed a swordsman. Some guys doesn't like it. But he is.

Gear 5 is just beginning. He has to reliaze he isn't just a rubber man but a man with unlimited imagination. When he becomes fully free, reaches peak of imagination, he'll be stronger but now he's not stronger than Shanks but he'll be for sure in due time.
If we ever get a battle between Luffy and Shanks...

Oh god, it will be EPIC and EPIC
