Everyone thinks Revos are this anti pirate/anti WG deal but I don't think it's the case. Revos are just Pirates with a nicer presentation cause they preach the world changing.

Bounty Hunters should be explored more. Fuck em Marines fuck em Pirates, they only do shit for themselves.

Kaido and BM protecting a RP was common knowledge to everyone yet Oda is making a mystery off the fact that the last RP is a mystery and nobody knows its whereabouts. Had it been under the protection of Shanks we would've known because at some point it'd be inevitably as the crew must go after him.

Well, that at last is a good point. Though even then I'd assume Shanks has it. Like, where would BB get his RP from? We know Law has the RP of Zou and Wano already, so which one is BB offering him and where did he get it from?

Context matters. No one stalled him. Those are just moments. Oda wouldn't let Mihawk one shot Crocodile because he just tried to redeem him and help Luffy. Same goes for Vista, he was there for Ace not to challenge Mihawk.

Mihawk's character is weird because of that but context really matters. No one from the Warlords visibly try to hurt/kill Whitebeard Pirates if you notice.

If Vista challenges Mihawk to a duel he meets a similar fate to Kid.

Please, don't try to cheapen Mihawk's character because of fandoms overblown jokes. If we are being serious here, this is not how it works.

Oda gave Mihawk a solo bounty of 3.590b. That is for a reason.

There is still difference between how Oda portraited Mihawk and Shanks. I will say even more: there is difference between how Oda portraited Kaido and Shanks.

Elbaf is unaffiliated with any pirate. They have an army that makes further alliances unnecessary. Them being on good terms with Shanks and potentially handing over a copy is another thing but no pirate actively to our current knowledge has to seek out battle with the RHP to get a road poneglyph because him having or protecting one currently can't be backed up with evidence. The Last RP imo is in the hands of the WG and will trigger the Final war.

Disagree, because its clear the final conflict needs to occur near or on Mariejois due to the Fishman Island prophecy and Whitebeard/Roger's statements about finding One Piece first before addressing the WG. We arent going backwards until we reach Laugh Tale.

This also benefits you, because it means that Luffy must be PK essentially before he fights Akainu and/or Im. If either BB/Shanks are still relevant by then, then itll be the result of something deeper than PK.

So Kaido and Big Mom avoided challenging either Elbaf or Shanks. Assuming they didn't know a RP is located on Elbaf, they would understand that Shanks has a copy too, right? Shanks is one of the four Emperors after all. And both Kaido and especially Big Mom had a good intelligence network.

The narrative of the series is literally that the 4 Yonko are in a stalemate for the Throne. No need for mental gymnastics

Yes and the narrative is right because if one went to war their territory is completely at the mercy of the third Yonkou that's not part of the war. The Yonkou being in a deadlock at no point confirms that Shanks protects a RP, that's just a big headcanon.

Tbh it was already highly likely ever since Luffy managed to defeat Kaido with nika powers. And considering shounen logic, there is no way that Luffy won't grow massively stronger from now on. Shanks and BB are his next opponent. They can't be weaker than Kaido, it would be illogical.

And now, Shanks one shotted an opponent who's 1/2 part of the force which defeated Big Mom who was comparable to Kaido.

HOWEVER, I still think the gap between Kaido and Shanks is close but imo Shanks definitely has the edge here. It's rather Big Mom who suffers from this chapter even more. At least Kaido also has some potential techniques like Ragnarok, his strongest TB or other higher end techniques to KO Kidd just like that, not to mention Blazing Bagua. But Big Mom? She spammed her entire skillset and still couldn't even KO Kidd for once...

If Big Mom is still alive, I hope she finds a way to age younger again, so that she can still be strong again, like in her prime.

Man, when we saw Shanks he stopped Akainu, one Shot Kid. In comparison when we saw Mihawk: Vista stalled him, Crocodile stall him. The difference is there

Roger wasn't serious when he send Oden to fly away. Shanks was able to do the same with Kidd, instead of destroying him. But Vista stalled Mihawk.
