It's not this chapter confirmed that the people Kidd targeted were weak and were Saint Shanks subordinates because they needed protection lol. Kidd was using his best attack to attack fodder lol

I will wait for manga pannels, but for me it seems it was great damage, that probably Saint Shanks wasn't able to fully block, if he even consider that option. Maybe he didn't. I need to see those pannels.
In spoilers we basically read that Kid didn't do a thing. While this is much better for Kid funeral.

Ive explained this ad nauseum. Luffy literally has more narrative importance with Saint Shanks than he does Blackbeard. Them meeting has been set up since chapter 1. It was repeated in Chapter 96, 581, and 903
It was mentioned by Luffy that he wants to fight Saint Shanks twice, in which blackbeard is never mentioned. Either crew losing after just gaining RPs makes little sense either. Im not advocating Blackbeard lose. Im advocating neither will, and if they do, itll be with Luffy.

• All the wano development to waste cause well, it is Saint Shanks
• Kid doesn't even get to fight Saint Shanks properly cause well Saint Shanks can't be hurt or struggle onscreen
• Killer could get up but Kid couldn't acter one blow, despite tanking a lot from rooftop to the end of want arc... all cause it is Saint Shanks
• No, Kid doesn't even beat the fleet capatins or YCs ...it is just a future which Saint Shanks saw where Kid does damage
• His crew begs for his life and give up RPs (they could have even burn or throw them into the water...no need for lame actions)

But for you it is good writing

Kid losing isn't the issue, the way he loses is dumb
