SBS!! 55 years ago, 25 people including Kozaburo Shimotsuki went out to sea. 52 years ago, 10 of them created Shimotsuki Village. In other words, one of the other 15 people is Tashigi's grandparents, and the shigure is passed down from that person to their grandchildren.

Other possibility is koushirou wife is unknown so she is probably not from Shimotsuki village since tashigi is 23 kuina would be 22 she probably had tashigi one year ago with another man in other village that would make tashigi and kuina sisters

I hope that Oda will finally deliver something with her, but after WCI and Wano I am afraid for her.

I was hoping she stayed in the base and met zoro 😔 but is good to see her in action again so who do you think she is gonna fight or do honestly I'd love Shiryu both swordsmen that will give her and zoro a lot of narrative

Imo, if Oda really want to establish the Shiryu vs Zoro narrative build-up, Shiryu is either defeats her or takes her hostage.

But I don't really want Tashigi to look bad again when she finally appears recently.

Given the lore we got on Shimotsukis and Zoro now too, even though it was outside Wano ironically and in an SBS, I have a slim hope again that Oda will finally touch on why Kuina and Tashigi are identical.

15 other people spread out from the ones who left Wano and didn't settle at Shimotsuki village where Zoro was right? They went elsewhere?

Oda is definitely cooking something huge here.

Thats actually hilarious as I and some others joke that Zoro is Dekus dad too LMFAO! Thats why Dekus dad still has never appeared, he's lost!
