@Elder Lee Hung I would hope for Aokiji to stand his ground against Garp. He has one of the strongest fruits, an awakened top tier Logia. If he gets folded by an old geezer, the Haki vs DF debate would be over. Even if they are equally matched, it's critical, since Aokiji has decent Haki himself and is at his prime against an old man.
I hope Aokiji shows some kind of advanced Haki, because at this point it's hard to say he's pushing Kaido to a high difference, Kaido being a character who was pointed out by the author as being even above Roger and WB.
So we get confirmation in this chapter that Kid is alive?
Or it is just a comparison to Law's status - because these two sentences, sounds a bit like there is confirmation that Kid is alive, but without details about his condition and whereabouts.
Both guys are two of my favorite characters, but depending on what's shown this fight might be very inconclusive for now.
I think it's not necessarily that difficult to make Garp have the upperhand against Aokiji at first. If Aokiji for example only fights with his basic elemental spam right now it's obv a no brainer that Garp has the necessary haki game to break ouf of his freezing attacks and it's also a no brainer that he has more than enough attack power to completely obliterate stuff like Pheasant beaks and Partisans that are flying at him.
If he's fighting off CoC infused ice spikes and some very difficult to anticipate type of moves from Aokiji it's crazy hype tho and says a lot about both.
BB and Shanks fighting fankly has no bearing on the plot. It will be offscreened mostly, unless Luffy is present. I dont get why people want this to happen directly without Luffy being involved.
There are a few scenarios where it might work but I don't see anything major happening. I strongly doubt Blackbeard is killing Shanks or the other way around.
