Luffy's endurance and durability have just lost any semblance of consistency and credibility.

This is why I tell people that the "power level" arguments are pointless in OP. Just enjoy the story for what it is. It'll never stop, but this chapter is a brutal reminder of that shit.

Yes, there are generic levels of increase in strength and clear lines of power (take Kaido vs. Katakuri for example, it was clear why Luffy got 1 shot by Kaido, yet took 12 hours worth of beatings from Katakuri), but I never expected FS to be consistent considering how broken it is to drive the plot. Hell, Luffy doesn't always use CoC, its mainly for story moments to show someone they are aren't worth fighting.

Honestly though, Apoo’s fruit is dynamic as hell offensively, maybe even more than Law’s. The only thing that matches it in terms of the effectiveness of the attack in any given location is Fishman Katate, as Fishman Karate uses water from everywhere in the environment. The only difference is Apoo uses sound, which travels faster. Must be almost impossible to defend.
