It does prove that neither Roger nor WB can beat Don Chinjao. Why didn't they beat him if they're stronger than Prime Chinjao? Chinjao's crews were consisted of fodders. Unless Don Chinjao was strong enough to fight Roger/WB 1 on 1 to make up the lack of his crews fighting strength.

When did Roger/WB clash with BM, Kaido?

Prime Chinjao was much stronger than Gear 4 Luffy. Roger and WB cannot beat him. Only Garp can beat Prime Chinjao. It shows that without CoC Coating Chinjao can still clash with Roger and WB. It does not dehype Chinjao. It hypes him even more.

Well, it was mentioned nowhere that they never beat him. It was only ever mentioned he clashed with Roger and Garp. So he fought them at one point in his life, and no one knows when it happened. The only thing we know is that he stopped being a pirate 30 years ago after his duel with Garp, so his fighting with Roger must've happened even before that. We also know the dude was worth around 550 million in his days of glory while Roger's bounty exceeds his bounty by 5 freaking billion. The fact that you're sitting here suggesting Chinjao was anywhere remotely close to Roger is mindboggling to me.

The burden of proof is on you to prove prime Roger/WB beat prime Chinjao something that never happened in the manga. Bounty is irrelevant to strength. 1.042 b berries Shanks>>>>1.32 b berries Queen.

Mihawk wants a peaceful life, if he stayed alone then the marines would have come for him. Sure he can fend off the marine fleets but they will keep coming for him to a point where it becomes a pain to deal with, this is why whitebeard also used to retreat from the marines, doesn't mean he's scared of them lol

Cross guild is seen as a yonko crew, so the marines wont attack them, and the yonko have been in a stalemate for decades now so its more beneficial for mihawk to stay in cross guild
