Kaido of the hundred hostages fans have very short memory, he spent like an entire chapter getting ragdolled by the scrubbards (so useless against Ryo they made Yamato give up on her dream) and even got knocked out for a few seconds at the end of it. Shanks stole the Nika fruit but the Gorosei were willing to meet with him. The fact the two sides seem to be cordial with one another is enough evidence to suggest they have some kind of mutual interest. Could either mean Shanks is mor evil than thought or Gorosei are more good than we thought
