People were incredibly Lukewarm around the finishers for the next two fights due to them being incredibly busy spreads which didn't let the impact of the attacks breathe, and generally looking a bit messy.
I don't see why departing from something that was so messy and quite difficult to read to something that has a better flow that improves the storytelling, and adds a ton of cool lines and character moments is a down grade at all.

There was no reason for IJ to get laughed off by Queen, everything could have been kept the same but Queen should have reacted like Jyabura did after DJ (wanting no parts of IJ) if they did want to keep Queen's cocky dialogue. When IJ was busted out in the manga every hit had Queen seeing the gates to hell, didn't have the luxury to even think about anything let alone run his mouth. You would think the anime team could expand on that, instead of making it look like DJ, resulting in an abrupt end to the fight.
