Mihawk started as someone who wanted challenges until he wanted peace and now he wants challenges again.
Crocodile wanted to find an AW, then he gave up, then he got confident again and now wants to be the PK with an utopia.
Fujitora blinded himself due to the bad things he saw, but appearantly he has no problem with having breakfast in a place full of slaves alongside a man whos an avid supporter of said practices.
It wouldnt be the first time that oda contradicted himself.

why would oda contradicted hancock's character to be under men when he wrote the dialogue of her stating she follow no mans order meaning she ain't gonna take orders from nobody because again it goes against her character she's not taking any orders from buggy

Not a fan. Oda could have made much better use out of Mihawk and Crocodile. Instead he saddled them with a clown. OP is so goofy sometimes its unbearable.
imagine thinking that crocolisa and the baboon herder are somehow 'above' being buggy's underlings or deserve a more dignified existence than the circus life

Hancock never gave up her ambitions.
Same with Doffy.
That's why they're conquerors, they still kept their agendas while serving WG as warlords.
That's the difference!
Mihawk and Croco gave up their ambitions
Hancock would only work under Luffy cause she loves him
Having her work under Buggy when she despises being bossed around by Men (especially weak ones) is dumb
