Ultra claimed just for the sake of claiming in a game where claiming can be punished and scum have counters to claiming. I know for a fact that I am town and if I claimed, thanks to my binding vow buff my role would get upgraded. So why is Ultra claiming here saying that if he doesn't, his role would likely be used in an anti town way? I have no idea why you brought up the claiming and upgrading in the way you did because it didn't prove any point you were trying to make.

Oh, I'll answer this. It's a pass/fail system, we're given a target and then we can vote to carry it out or vote to veto, we don't get a say in who the target is.

So you are given requests to kill someone but you can veto/refuse it if you don't want to? You don't pick the target but you can choose if you actually carry it out? And you know there is more then just you who are like this?

If I had to guess, it's a mechanic that offer some potential crowd control vigging but can also be manipulated, or it's some indie bullshit.

In either case, if I haven't made this clear, my intention is that we avoid scum sided additional kills, and you all treat this as a conditional secondary lynch, so we may force the hand of whoever is ordering the hit, covering if they're scum or if their placement is bad.
