if it is 0 tolerance i'll flesh it out in rules, but honestly modkills r the worst

emotional manipulation is part of mafia, scum players shud be allowed to whine and cry and say im gna sub out waaa because its part of the game. i will modkill if it was excessive like swearing on your life i will never play mafia again if you lynch me etc.. cuz thats stupid (and ive seen it happen before and go unmodkilled), but a light emotional manipulation is fine for me personally

ekko i think a fundamental problem is you dont do mechanical clears when you play cause ???(bad) reasons but most players do.

so when someone is telling you that players can be confirmed mechanically, and easily, through their role you don't really seem to understand because you just say it won't confirm them even when to the majority it will lol.

u can say the same about fang heal and forensic invest, or gram's night talk or ratchet's parity check then as those r supposed to be mechanical confirmation of the same magnitude as town had

like hime had a chat and was read town by play. i could give the chat to scum and they shudnt be read town just by it

only gojo is ultimately mechanically cleared. the rest of the players were cleared by gameplay + role checking out. that level of clear apply to mafia as well

additionally most town roles alwaysmind, reloaded, mono, ultra, blue, tpein, hime, kweh, reborn, conq, psylocke (kiku and mich as well) had abilties that arent confirmable town at all. it was just the gameplay factor that made them read one way or another

its kind of easy to say in a hindight but during the game even flower was been suspected for being sukuna

it was ultimately only gojo that was practically an IC, and his role could be removed directly without expending a factional kill for that reason.

Gramm, I said I will tell you things engame, but since you were mafia I can accept any push in any form because it was for your wincon.

Reading old posts I realised something was wrong with how Ratchet was playing the day against Kiku and that Charlie was right, but my wincon couldn’t be achieved by helping town. And also Gramm's reaction at Mango's shot was extremely wolfy but only if I were town I would attack Gramm for it.

I wonder if mafia knew about my role and if they understood I can't town side too much.
I probably would not achieve wincon if i would kill Blue and I am glad I made the correct read about the slot of Nika/Blue and went for the second target because I really wanted to help town with that shot

Overall, it was a fun game to be in as third party.

@NikaInParis I hope you will play mafia again!!!

I understood what you did, but I didn't want to claim my real flavour. Gramm's push was too strong and Prof tunneled me as well.
If I would accept my real role they would lynch me and I would lose.

u didnt really use ur mass block or vanilla but ultimately it didnt come to that

The mass block required everyone to vote Gram which is gimmicky as hell, and the mass vanilla requires us to hold the execute until I'm dead, then use the execute, to then get that afterwards. Massively niche and unlikely to see use ever.

kuchiki muta was a town role first before i fleshed out assasinations. tpein's role was hanami's fake claim and hanami couldnt reflexive heal. it was the shoko's role, town, but originally without the alert modifier. but this was early in the design phase.

i wanted a communicative role to be kenjaku's fake. it was between kuchiki muta and akari nitta (hime's neighborer role) or the messager ability that panda had (X's role, tho not the cop part). i thought that the messanger or neighborer will allow direct communication between mafia and the traitor so may be too strong, so gram was given kuchiki muta as fake, and it actually fits flavor extremely well

look at how townie ur roles are ratchet. u arent scum. u r town afterall right? dont lie to urself. u arent valuing how misleading town is stronger than overpowering them lol. let them overpower themselves

or in an alternate reality, i could give ur team roleblocks, busdrives, redirections and then have u struggle making up believable claims, but atleast you could overpower and neutralize town's claims, which effectively makes the game closer to vanilla

its just another way of doing it really

You were still your queen´s favourite assassin despite being indie. Would have been epic if you managed to kill Midnight!

Might add that I have already sent in my targets before Kiku has claimed to be Sukuna, had a feeling I should send it early before someone hammered the lynch...
Can´t tell for sure which player I had picked as my new secondary target but Midnight would have moved up to primary target if I had sent it in after Kiku´s claim, so the result would have been the same I think.
