Because it felt like she couldn't really get her story straight on her ability and how it works. She literally came in saying scum protected Ultra and that Gram survived a kill on him. Then she launched into her ability. It didn't seem super straightforward to me.

Do you think scum is that messy with their entrance lol?

A.) pretending that the Town leader protect was scum protection
B.) immediately voting Gram & claiming hider
C.) then elaborating on her ability in a way that Gram doesn’t look suspicious at all

Naomi doesn’t strike me as the type to go through all that as some big brain scum 5D chess move

It looks like a ditzy (no ill intent lol) townie to me who got ahead of themselves and didn’t read their role and was also lost in the sauce

hime i gotta review her posts to see if she's actually providing content/reads actively as i haven't seen it as much this phase. i could see both ultra and ratchet as town, particularly the way ultra was talking about the assassin mechanic with joygirl, but i havent read most of

their posts and they can be deceptive so i'll wait until they catch scum!


rippdcal is being too generous but his brief call-out of me for voting then asking a question i could see coming from a town perspective of his. he did just drop it tho. similarly to gram i think he might be more involved if he was scum.

I'm not giving any benefit of the doubt to players on them being town just because they're messy; I'm over giving people free rides for that shit. Also, the way I think hider works was NOT the way Naomi explained her hider ability, and that initial thought process of mine had a contradiction with her ability, so I questioned it.

because honestly what she described isnt anything like a hider so im still unsure if it was through her own confusion or his that it got that fucked up.

Idk about Ekko, but I’ve seen hiders here that don’t work like it does with WS/OLF. (Ie you don’t die if you hide behind scum)

Also, fwiw I think the non positive action stuff tracks too for this game

Basically it will depend on if Ekko choose to use WG convention or WS convention. I know he’s aware of both bc when I played the Christmas game on WS a few years back he had to explain to me yalls convention vs the convention here that game

Basically you can hide behind someone and use them as a human shield to protect yourself, but there's no 'cop' aspect behind the hider. If you are targeted by a kill, the person you hid behind dies, regardless of their alignment.

he views it as a cop role. what naomi explained doesn't even sound like a hider.
