As for the comment on the oppression, I suppose you have some valid point to that, but the concept of 'oppression' is a notion that is so burdened by alternate meanings now, it's unreal. It's also oppressive that Asians are overlooked for Harvard in favour of blacks.
Not all blacks are good. Not all whites are good. Not all blacks were slaves. Not all whites owned them. If you wish to punish people by the colour of their skin and force them to give up their wealth, for your sake, you are being selfish. I said that institution of slavery was something that everyone did back then, so to go and in today time do reparation for it is downright terrible idea.
Cause black people werent the only ones in the world that took the brunt of slavery (Slavs had it bad too, hell most poor nations had it bad)

I'm white, and you'd probably demand someone like me would owe reparations.

I never called you greedy specifically. The concept of it is born from greed. I wholly believe this justice cannot be attained when those who suffered are all dead. If we could alleviate the pain and suffering of those in the past, I'd probably be more on board. But I'd not advocate for taking money from those who weren't involved and giving it to those who weren't involved based off inherited sin.

Main issue is that in America, the media and political parties only focus on surface level shit that happens in the streets to redirect anger from black people towards white people in general.
