RIght?! Erza is pretty great, one of my favourite Fairy Tail characters and I joke she is "Shanks's daughter" but her mentality is probably closer to Mihawk's though or a mixture of them both even, so take that as you will hahaha! Plus we have "Not Shanks" with Gildarts, an absolute beast in himself just like Erza too ofc!

Erza felt very Zoro inspired and Zoro tanking Hakai and then fighting King with broken bones and enduring extreme pain reminded me of Erza towards the final arcs of Fairy Tail, well the broken bones and pain parts anyway lol.

They even had a Death Battle as Screwattack does! Erza is the swordswoman Tashigi and Smoothie so desperately need to be but are so let down so badly by Oda! Hell we even had "Fujitora" in Fairy Tail way before Oda gave us Fuji himself in One Piece ofc! A couple years before in fact! Kagura the swordsman with gravity powers! So at least 2 powerful swordswomen in Fairy Tail too! Since Kagura was similar to Erza or so?

I can also see him lying on his back with his Wado pointing towards heavens. Zoro would be overwhelmed that he defeated Mihawk. I also love your Senior Pink reference.

However, if Zoro’s on his back after defeating Mihawk, I can see the anti Zoro legion claiming that he didn’t win.

@Shimotsuki Ghostly I never watched Fairy Tale, but I liked your post about the similarities between Zoro and Ezra. It is too bad that Oda didn’t include a really strong female swordsman in Wano. I would have liked seeing Tashigi in Wano. She could have brought some sword lore with her.

@Lor D. Coast I accept that comic as canon because it fuels my Zoro power scaling agenda. That agenda is how many times can Zoro’s feats shock other characters!

I always saw Zoro as the erza ot one Piece they are very similar in some aspects i only watched Fairy Tail because of her but now that you mention it actually it sucks that other shonens have badass braves and strongest swordswomen and in One Piece we only have Tashigi clownda for a reason
