The spread of Christianity was hardly 'collateral damage'.
The spread of Christianity was often intentional and it hardly resulted in the saving of indigenous souls.
Non Christians were deliberately imprisoned coerced and tortured to get them to accepted Christianity.

Anyway, the internet is a complicated place to discuss sensitive issues, as people always feel obliged to express their opinion even when they do not have any kind of understanding on the subject.

That's why I don't post here, because I don't know shit about politics.

That wasn't in the politics thread, it was in the old WWIII thread.
I threatened him with violence, don't exactly remember what I said.
It came as response to nameless making some terribly racist comments about indigenous americans and that he thought it's beautiful they were conquered and converted to Christianity.
Interestingly enough ,this post didn't get him banned.
What prompted natalija to ban nameless was his response to my threat, that I wouldn't be able to harm him because I'm supposedly female.

I don't remember what i said exactly,but Latin America is a mixed race and Christian continent for the most part.The natives married with the portuguese and spanish(for the most part,some were racists too like the people from Argentina),meanwhile the english gunned people down.We were having a debate about english vs spanish/portuguese colonization.

The problem is that nameless is terribly uneducated about his own continent's history, most likely consumes populist media and got all his knowledge on native Americans from movies like Apocalypto.
