With the soul soul fruit I reckon Lilin could be immortal if Oda didn’t cap it. Given she can put her soul in inanimate objects, her mortal body shouldn’t really matter. Not sure why Oda didnt explore this with Lion. Maybe he just wants to keep it as simple as possible.

If so, it must be a kind of awakening.
And besides, her "metal body" was just as important

In the story of Frankenstein's Monster, the Monster is rejected by his father (Frankenstein or in this case WB) so starts rampaging to take revenge against him by killing/hurting his family (his wife or in this case the WB pirates)

My bet is that when people finally believe Weevil's story, his rampage will come to an end.
