i liked the fact that luffy is still luffy no matter if its gear 5 and his moves are tooney but still cool and as for the eye pops, poink. especially when nami's go eye pop and shoot back into their sockets.

Ive seen you say it alot but you really need to stop acting like anything in these episodes is like DBZ. Dragon Ball outside of Super Broly has never had the dynamic and fluid animation we've been getting in wano, there's nothing similar about them outside of auras occasionally of which this episode had literally one. What are you seeing where this episode even remotely resembled ANYTHING from Dragon Ball, seriously.

I’m maybe a little less severe, the pacing was okay, and things went good one after the others but it still lacked to be an amazing episode. Either the quality of the animation, the soundtrack or the fight rhythm itself, I don’t know but lacked something

Just watch again episode 1015 and you will see that this one isn’t at all the best episode of one piece.

I'm not even Luffy fan but i have enjoy every single battle he had so far in the story.

This G5 shit is unbearable.
Zero tension, no agony, nothing. Feels like there is nothing at stake and they just fighting for the lulz.
Worst decision an author has done about his MC.

The more I see G5 the more I like it personally. I kinda like to cope that due to Awakening it for the first time Luffy fooled around more than he usually would because as fun and goofy as Oda wants to make Luffy's fights he still has to create tension.

Im not one for watching the anime, but had to check out this episode. I like the little bits they added to G5 that Oda didnt think to do in the manga. Pretty cool. Im curious how they'll elevate the other 2 big clashes he and Kaido have before he brings out Bajrang.
