How do you quantify breaking the internet? What numbers, figures, or statistical methods are you using to determine whether it broke the internet? What sites are you using to gather this information?
Since G5 Luffy only managed to stop a few anime-watching sites or so for a while, thus, naturally, it did not qualify as "breaking the internet" as far as I am concerned.
Because now the G5 clownery is backed by strange sounds made by the VA, a constant boing boing and trash background music. They could at least change the background music to make things a bit more serious.

This first showing of G5 is just not it...
I tried really hard to like what happened in this fight but it's just bad imo.
Luffy vs Lucci was way more enjoyable, Oda needs balance between goofy and serious shit, to have this against the biggest villain in the series yet is just underwhelming.

Also this weird camaradary between Luffy and Kaido is soooo out of place, Kaido was promising to either enslave and work the alliance to death or just straight up kill them.
So many narrative choices that made this fight lose all tension, just weird decisions all in all.
Not gonna lie, I actually liked the anime's depiction of Gear 5. They could definitely tone it down some on the sound effects after this, but all around I think they did a great job, especially for "Gomu Gomu no Gigante" which I thought came off well. Much better than the last episode.
