To be honest, Kizaru’s personality was actually one of the biggest reasons why I couldn’t be totally on board with admirals COC. I even made a post about it. Seeing him refusing a direct order from the highest authority of the world to pay respect to his friend’s determination was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Seems like he follows the WG because their interests match with his interests, not out of submission.
