Difference of thinking doesnt mean they both dont have conviction. Look at what Fuji did so far:
Dismantled the Warlords system like he said he would
Openly disobeying superiors if they get in the way of his ideals
Complete disregard for CDs and their needs and freeing slaves when given the opportunity
,etc.
He has the most conviction and backbone amongst all the admirals bar Sakazuki imo and even then Akainu while he hates pirates and considers them demons still let the Shishibukai system be because it followed the system. He unlike Fuji still follows the system somewhat.
