why is live action zeff knocking sanji's food?

at that point in their life, Zeff mistreats Sanji in the attempt of making him leave the Baratie and explore the world for himself.

It becomes more apparent in the manga only after Luffy invites Sanji, but it is fine to show it before it happen, imo.

i see. but did he ever knock grown-up sanji's food in the manga? i think oda used other means to illustrate zeff's 'harshness' but i could be misremembering.

the scene seems out of character to me because sanji woouldn't cook crap food and zeff wouldn't knock good food

That was a major part of the scene right before Luffy and Sanji left was Zeff saying the soup he made tasted like swill.

btw, he didnt knock the food. he gave the plate to someone else to take it away. They usually hide when they eat Sanji's food. :P

Doubt that, way to brutal and it also reminds me of the whole ''BM cut Jimbei's arm off'' moment back in WCI

My guess is he’ll be captured by BB pirates until the dome goes down and he’ll break out then he’ll do something connected to the fleet.

So sad, but I want to be positive. But Zoro vs Lucci will not be a full fight either, I don't be so sure even on Luffy vs Kizaru.

I don't think we're getting full fights this arc. I feel like the BB pirates who're somewhere in there will pull something unexpected that will flip the table on everyone else.

Still optimistic though about a clash between Sanji and Lafitte, if he's truly in there, or possibly Saturn although very unlikely for the latter-there's just no way Oda will have someone clash with a Gorosei before Luffy does.
