My lawyer friend told me about a case he watched in the courtroom this week.
This poor Indian woman stole like $400 dollars of baby food and products from Walmart for her kid. She ended up getting deported for it.

Will the people responsible for this get their lives ruined like the lady who was deported? Probably not.
And it’s funny, because the average American would probably be more angry at a disadvantaged migrant worker stealing for her family than at a massive corporation stealing millions from the working class.

Some people does involve great skills of observation, collecting information and deriving inferences so what they do is they use scientific and systematic means to argue... reflecting their inquisitive nature
You can say such people have scientific temper - preferring logical argumentation.
However, argument isn't a domain like history but it's a tool or method. So arguments can be scientific in a sense of being a method but not science or social science as a domain or subject
