Wano becomes a lot more interesting to me when you realize that Kaido's entire goal was to create the new Joy Boy. He wanted to be Joy Boy, realized he wasn't, and then dedicated his life to becoming everything Joy Boy stood against, the enemy of liberation.

Nika is what? A Mythical Zoan, with "Nika" meaning smile. After learning about Vegapunk cloning Zoan Fruits, Kaido tried to replicate this using Caesar, who knew of Vegapunk's science.

Kaido created a ton of artificial Zoans, because he wanted to replicate the Nika Fruit; this is why the artifical Zoan Fruits are called SMILES.

Kaido knew Joy Boy would liberate Wano, and start the world war with the World Government, so he built Joy Boy an army and created shit tons of weapons for him to use.

One of the craziest fail your way to success stories of all time; by becoming the ultimate villain, Kaido grew the ultimate hero, Joy Boy.
Exactly, this is why I think Kaido is the best villain in One Piece. He's a man who was abused by the system, set out to change the world and actually did it.
This is also why I really like the scene where Yamato asks him why he is enslaving the people of Wano and Kaido tells her that there are no easy answers in this world. He was doing it for all the reasons you said.

One of the worst endings for luffy's fighrs, similar to enies lobby lucci.

The other opponent dominates, does a final attack on luffy, he almost loses until he thinks of his friends and then wins the fight.

Straight fairy tail stuff.

And given by the way he said it, i'm afraid oda will turn him into another luffy like character.
Yeah I have to agree with that.

Indeed was always my thought-process too.

Whitebeard confirmed the treasure of One Piece in his dying moments

Roger became PK, finding OP and created the big pirate era.

Kaido created JoyBoy by killing Luffy and created the one who destroy the WG, which Kaido also wanted. He has achieved the biggest thing to achieve.

For powerscaling fanboys eyes is hard to realize.
The next ryuma* doing so in the land of the samurai it's the point, story wise it is more impactful.

Even oda knew and decided to make the Nika /Ryuma comparison.
Past is past anyways, Wano ended up being mid sadly.
"powerscaling fanboys"
no one besides Zoro fanboys care about Ryuma who was briefly mentioned 2 or 3 times during Wano. The plan to take down Kaido started with Luffy and Law alliance all the way back in 2012 during Punk Hazard and having it be finalized with Luffy's subordinate beheading the strongest antagonist yet just so Oda can make reference to an old one shot from almost 3 decades ago would be the most disappointing conclusion ever

@Episode

It was alright, the final blow was kind of underwhelming, thought Kaidou would fall down at breakneck speeds. I already checked out of this fight when the clash was initiated, 3 episodes of the same giant fist isn't exactly exciting. The fight peaked in 1074, that was an insane episode.

forget anime, in manga itself it was dragged for 3 chapters...main problem with this fight is Oda broke the flow with so much live floor nonsense and gave abrupt ending with big punch...

Law plan was to mess up the smile production so Kaido can kill Doffy if he died it was ok for him.
This alliance was a sham until Luffy achieved something law couldn't picture.

Lmao Ryuma was compared to Nika even and you say it's irrelevant, jeez this braindead powerlevel guy.
It's not a reference cuz it's canon dummy.

Luffy is the ryuma and roger of this generation, Zoro's role is to be his servant.

Teach is xebec, kid will be shiki, law will die performing the surgery on someone and that's about it.

Kaido é realmente um herói, ao escravizar o povo de Wano ele conseguiu fazer Joyboy retornar.
Ele realmente mudou o mundo como disse que faria.

Furthermore, Kaidou was also the guy who awakened Joyboy in the world by killing Luffy... It's too crazy when you connect the dots... Kaidou basically managed to change the world, but in his own way.
