Honestly the way Ive ranked the Marines with the Yonko is entirely based on circumstances with the plot in a Shonen manga.
- While BM and Kaido are super powerful, they are currently relegated out of the plot. Imo, their subordinates (i.e. YCs) do not light a candle to the Admirals (Ryokugyuu offscreening King and Queen basically), suggesting the Admirals are at least stronger than them. Again, not saying Admirals are above Kaido and Big Mom, but that they are least in a very definitive middle ground between top YCs and the Yonko.
- That said, when I look at Shanks and Blackbeard, I do not see the same thing. I see 2, imo, stronger Yonko than BM and Kaido (again by virtue of plot and shonen progression). I also see Akainu basically on the same playing field as the fleet Admiral.
- What I mean by this is Blackbeard has Kuzan as a subordinate, yet a color spread has indicated Shiryu is Blackbeard's #2, not Kuzan. Which strongly suggests that Shiryu, a Blackbeard YC, is relative to an Admiral, unlike BM and Kaido's Subordinates.
- Same idea with Shanks and at least Beckman. Apparently they are the strongest "core" crew with the highest average bounty. Beckman, like Shiryu is probably on par with an Admiral, if not stronger.
- With Akainu, I consider him to be right there with BB and Shanks. You take their bounties (~4 billion) and the fact that Admirals have 3 billion, its safe to say that CG gives the Fleet Admiral a 4 Billion bounty
Now, how want you to scale these 3 characters is anyone's guess, but imho (and I never really try and scale characters but I digress):
BM/Kaido YCs < Admirals ~ Blackbeard/Shanks YCs (including Kuzan) < Kaido/BM < Blackbeard/Shanks/Akainu
Is just generally how I see it. Oda seems to be revolving plot on these 3 characters specifically in the future (before Gorosei and Imu ofc). And if Mihawk fans want, you probably can put him with Blackbeard/Shanks/Akainu relatively.

Dont think we can give anyone a fair assessment until they end up fighting the crew.
Jesus was strong, then got foddered by Sabo, now has a DF that gives him unrivaled strength.
We dont know if Shiryu can awaken the fruit (maybe it gives him intangibility for example) or maybe he feeds his sword another DF. Same with Blackbeard, a 3rd fruit plus awakening could be his MO.
That just my take on it.
