Chapter Discussion Where are the admirals on Good Valley?

Why there aren't admirals?

The anime just extended the event in the most obvious way: King and Queen were actually heavy injured like everybody, bar a certain fandom, already knew. Not to talk about the black blade nonsense.
And you are free to think in what way that went, but the anime "just extended" the batman-Luffy dynamic all the same.

The filler are not canon now as were not before, and more than anything would just be hypocritical trying to choose what fillers are good and what are bad.

I am not specifically taking a position on that front, just saying that anime is never canon and never will be.

- Sengoku possibly had aCoC or Roger wouldn't consider him fun to fight against, but he is still on coward-watch calling Garp to send him in his stead.

- Bogard is stronger than the admirals.

- The admirals we don't know about may simply have been too far to make it since the marines didn't know about the attack until seconds before the conflict started. the previous two points still stand.

But wasn't Saturn present in God Valley.... Isn't and admiral necessary to be deployed like in egghead happened?
He had Garling and the God Knights, who were confident going to the frontlines and leaving the marines behind. So that probably was a good enough escort already.

:hohoho::hohoho:
Wait that made sense.
But weren't they there for all the CD present?
Can they even protect Saturn among all the CD?

I'm not a fan of the anime either but if there is an event, a manga chapter, that in this forum brought discussion based on weak claims (GB black blade and GB low doffing full health King and Queen) and the anime, following the manga (Oda had no time to fully explore the event, we just know thay Aramaki attacked cause the SHs were still recuperating, so the baddies who lost were in even worse shape, and indeed we saw King and Queen covered in bandages) extends a situation that was basically already known then where is the problem? I would have never noticed this detail/expansion/even filler, if I watched the anime episode, without the contrast to the claims that were made... Also it is true thay admirals are stronger than YC1 but there is just now way he low diffed in a short amount of time a YC1 and YC2 together.

And about the Batman smile user I just remember Oda put he in as some sort of a meme character mid Wano, honestly I don't know/remember/care what happened to him and who did or didn't beat him.
Post automatically merged:

We definitely not use the trash non-canon anime to interpret anything
And indeed the manga was already enough

Exactly, and imho we should do this with all of the anime, which proved repeatedly to be non canon if not outright against the manga (Hawkins 1% phrase, for example).

If it was the opposite and Ryo said King and Queen were 100%, it would have been the same.

Also, we had multiple Oda's and editor's confirmations about them having very little in common with the anime and what the anime does.

Ok, we have slightly different opinions, I actually don't see big differences between the manga and the anime when it comes to the GB vs King and Queen fight. I see the anime just as a confirmation of what I saw in the manga, so everything is good for me in this case. I honestly don't recall an instance were the anime disproved something we saw in the manga (the Hawkins 1% stuff could maybe be the best example so far) but at the same time I watched anime episodes at best until Marineford (and of course anime episodes that are total filler, like the Navarone marine base arc ones, are just filler).
