You are wrong in assuming that Shusui's rank did not rise after turning into a black blade. We only know that Yoru is the strongest sword. We also know that black blades are the rarest and their toughness is legendary. It can be Yoru >= Shusui > Ace/Shodai/Murakomigiri or it can be any order as long as Yoru is the strongest.

I didn't say Shusui's Rank didn't Rise
I said that Shusui's Haki isn't as Strong as Roger, WB, Mihawk, Shanks ... etc
Otherwise, his Sword would have become Supreme Grade

If he makes each Strawhat the best in their respective jobs, no fighter will be stronger than Zoro. Luffy included.
If he doesnt do that, oh well, wouldnt be surprised but I still expect him to make Zoro #1 of the universe.

Prime Oden after learning to use advanced Haoshoku, which was mentioned by the narrator to have returned invincible and triumphantly stated openly that his sword style is the best there is. Now Roger failing to put down a Young Oden who didn't even know how to use advanced Haoshoku is a terrible portrayal, Oden got up as if nothing had happened, and take into consideration that it wasn't even Prime Oden, it was a young Oden who, by the way, did very well facing Roger's attack head on. LOL

The black blade must be related to the rank of black itself, if you have a 50 ranked blade or 21 ranked blade if you make it black it will update it to the next rank, ryuma was having 50 ranked blade after he becomes black he get rised to the 20 and become the 21 blade for mihawk was having the 21 rank and rise it to the 12 supreme blades after he becomes black. That the only explanation why blades of Roger or shanks, whitebeard or other top tears didn't become black because they are already in high rank it can't be rise more. So the black blade rise the quality of the sword itself and not related to the power of the person. No one logical will put Roger whitebeard under ryuma or mihawk

What I'm saying is that Oden's style is better than Roger's.


What I am saying is supported by Oden who literally recited the same.
