Mihawk's WSS title is the only title we can say was achieved by actually fighting others to prove he was the strongest. Kaido title is based on rumors and assumption he couldn't be killed. Not because he actually traveled the world and fought and beat everybody.

Ryuma got hyped again now that we know the Gorosei most likely have been living g since the void century.
This means they could not conquer Wano when Ryuma was protecting it solo. Also, it makes it interesting given that Bald Gorosei is most likely from Wano as well

The only two GOATs able to forge a black blade. Ryuma probably is the first one to do it. Guys like Admirals with swordsmen Fuji and/or GB, Yonkos like Shanks, PK Roger, Gorosei Ethan, none of these top tiers managed to do what these two have accomplished. They are a tier above all these. These two can probably take on all the Admirals together. Ryuma defended against the world which included these Gorosei and Mihawk is hurting people IRL. Truly the GOATs. And when Zoro surpasses these two he will be the strongest ever.

Oden's style might be better or stronger style than Roger's actually or just for him.. in the end it comes to individual's power also.. akayaza 9 could not do all together what single oden did to kaido with copied Oden's nitoryu style.. Yamato cant do shit to Kaido with copied kaido's style.. overall power (haki , durability, speed etc etc ) plays big role also as much style.. we are looking for the strongest , not a pure skill competition.. when it comes to style or skill , opponents of zoro sometimes wonder if its circus act

Yes, Oda really failed to deliver on Zoro during Wano. All Zoro did was:
- beat 3 SN
- mastering enma
- scare Wano strongest sumo wrestler
- outperform the rooftop SN
- block a combo attack, hakai, from 2 yonkos
- beat a lunarian, Kaido's RHM, and a character harder to damage than Kaido
- best and scar Kaido in battle
- obtain CoC/ACoC
- survive medicine side effects that double the damage

That's quite a letdown.

None of these things are things that Zoro promised to do except beating King. You can powerscale as much as you want, which wasn’t the point of my post, I generally care that an MC says something for a reason and will back up their own words with actions instead of leaving such plot lines empty.

At least for the slicing Kaido stuff he tried. But the fact that there was no plot concerning Ryuma and Zoro in the swordmen country Wano, or him caring about Orochi in Onigashima, or leading a group of Samurai as a swordsman, is especially a huge letdown.

I mean Luffy said that he would make sure Tama is fed nicely every day, a promise that should be so trivial, and he even managed to accomplish that.
