Dude, if I bring in any random person who knows Japanese, people won't believe me. I've already brought in a guy who holds the same position as Stephen to give more credibility to what I'm saying. If it were just any translator out there saying something, people wouldn't give it enough credit and would say that Stephen is a professional and is hired to do this and other stuff.
I kind of feel sorry for the community that reads this manga in English, because they're reading shit with the wrong translation. LOL

So we're talking about a Japanese to Portuguese to English translation vs a guy with degrees in English and Japanese themselves, who was chosen because of his reputation for translating better than their original translator.
And just so it makes more sense, translating for dialogue isn't about the accuracy to the words themselves. Which sounds confusing, to be fair, but it's always been understood.

Huh kaido did not protect his land like ryuma . Kaido is yonko which marine need permission to attack him. Which we see on Blackbeard and luffy .And the cp0 already trading weapons with orochi . Why would greenbull attack wano while kaido is around while cp0 is trading weapon in wano ? The greenbull is pro-WG guy which he would tolerate cp0 dirty dealing with pirates.
