Both of them got hit and sent flying by pre skip g2 too.
Yet they are all simply "superior" to Luffy without a shadow of doubt, Magellan even proved it on panel.
The same applies for Ace & BB too, they were invited to be Warlords and Luffy was leagues away from being stronger than Warlord 1v1.

Jinbe & Yamato had CoA and couldn't do shit to Rookie Ace, let alone Commander Ace.

Thinking about it, Yamato didn't even use her Devil Fruit against Ace, and I'm sure Ace was using his against her.
We also have unanswered questions; could Yamato use Adcoc back then? I don't think so.
But the mere fact that she didn't use her Devil Fruit, which she had mastered since childhood, against Ace is already a significant win for her. She was in her base form, yet she collided equally with Ace, who was using his Devil Fruit.

lol Ace was so strong that Teach didn't even want Burgess or Augor interfering cause they'd be hard bodied by him, that is even in a 3v1:
meanwhile you the perceptive Augor who was directly discussing Ace's base physicals power was amazing.
while you also fail to understand that Ace almost got his neck broken due to the force of pull Teach's gravitation effect had on him directly enhancing the force behind Teach's hit, while Ace was also offgaurd throwing his own attack at Teach simultaneously. I do also remember he immediately shrugged that same attack off and directly attack Teach once again:

this fight lasts all but one chapter and was partially off-screen. Teach was visibly and clearly YC1/2 caliber here and Ace forced him to use his strongest attack in a 1on1...
while you want to compare Ace v Teach and Luffy v Teach - Luffy gets neg diffed by Teach in an actual fight at the same point in time of Enies Lobby as Luffy was not even a match for someone of Hancocks level he was barely even able to hang with the snake sisters. where G2 was being matched by both Mari and Sonia who scale below MF VA...
we can scale Luffy to Ace here as Luffy who was "physically" stronger was only able to land one hit on an off gaurd Teach here:
this is the same G2 punch he threw at Sonia without being enraged and all it did was knock Teach back for a second while luffy still tried blitzing him afterewards failed...
this is the difference in what the same first punch did to Ace as opposed to how much more it hurt Luffy:

Jinbei knew Luffy wouldve been dead here as Teach>Ace>>Luffy - i mean look at how easily Jinbei was able to intercept G2 enraged Luffy and out muscle him with sheer physicality... if you want to talk about speeds this is enough to scale Ace as being faster than G2 Luffy based off of matching Jinbei as a rookie and substantially weaker than current Ace was at the time. we can even going to Yamato vs Ace as Yamato was both physically capable of matching hybrid Kaido in both striking power and speed, who was being matched by all 3 advanced form haki Luffy with insanely faster G2 speeds than we've seen in EL who you seem to scale and state Ace was substantially slower than.. we can even take it back to Alabasta where Smoker was too fast for Luffy yet that same slower and weaker Ace casually intercepted and had smoker back down by simply discussing elements of DFs...
as a rookie you say Ace was weaker than Luffy yet went 5 days without losing to Jinbei, when every single Warlord Luffy faced was singlehandedly hard bodied and lost 2-3 times before being able to finally win one round against them... then after Ace's 3 on screen 5 day panel with Jinbei had enough left in his tank to face off against WB, that Ace was physically stronger than and me being generous here than WCI G4 Luffy who we saw got bodied by Big Mom then an even stronger Luffy was neg diffed at every encounter with Kaido up til the Rooftop. Fast forward about a year or so and you have that same weaker version of Ace matching Yamato with ease. we can even ignore the Ace Novels and go to Marineford where this "stronger" verion of Luffy compared to Ace was a maggot against any Mid to Top Tier more so the Admirals Luffy didnt stand a shred of a chance against any single one we have Ace casually doing this:
