While at the same time last chapter heavily mentioned both of them wanting to travel the world and seeing it together.

Especially with Kuma the chapter prior outright saying he’s not a fighter he’s just a pacifist. Kuma was always forced into the fights, I think given the choice if he and Bonney are both alive he’s not going to drag Bonney into another war, he’ll take her and they’ll go travel the world like they always wanted.

Maybe they’ll return EOS for a big moment in the final war, but I can’t see kuma wanting to immediately go to war with his 12 year old daughter at his side.
Hmm I dont agree. We have to remember that even before she was factor in his life, he joined the Revolutionary army to liberate countries from tyranny. He did the same after she was born. This doesnt change after Egghead either.

For Kuma to not participate in the fight against the entity that enslaved him and the world is super put of character. His pacifism is the idea of wanting peace, not that he refuses to fight for what he thinks is right.

I can absolutely see Bonney just staying with VP on Elbaf or something while he tackles the last few fights with the crew. That personally sounds like it would be in character for him, so that way he can sail the world with his daughter freely afterwards.

Kuma quit the revs once Bonney came down with her disease because he wanted to spend time with her I don’t think Kuma after spending four years apart from her is going to immediately abandon her again especially after reading the letter he wrote.

Bonney is this man’s priority in the world.

He quit the RA to find her a cure lol. Early points of her life he was still part of the RA. I doubt if she were sick, he would have left.

Again, in order for her to have the best life, the WG needs to go. It makes no sense for him not to be involved on that fight, especially since his clan looks up to the literal warrior of liberation.

Thats very much his MO:

- He saved other slaves at God Valley
- He liberated his country with Dragon
- He liberated other countries with the RA
- He then liberated Sorbet 2 more times before being forced a pirate

If he survives Egghead, it would be VERY out of character for him not to be involved in the final battles, especially once he finds out Luffy is Nika. Thats like his whole dream lol:

Your avi in combination with you wrting in the "nakama thread" somehow makes your avi funny.
How can I be so sure? lol

This might be one of your super trolling move. Pretending that you are serious when in fact you are secretly laughing about it.

:ihaha:
I promise you that I mean, what I wrote. I even did consider adding emotes, but decided against it, because I thought they would make my post seem not serious enough to make you believe me. :catcry:

And I feel like Kuma is going to want to spend all his time with Bonney if he gets a second chance with all the time these two have already lost he wouldn’t want to lose anymore.

In his final moments his mind and heart was with Bonney, it wasn’t with the revs.

Checked some of Marineford, thinking this moment is deeper than we thought.

He gets what he is doing, but thinks Luffy is naive and much to weak to actually make a difference. "No matter how hard you try"... Kuma's his example?
And now this arc, Luffy can proof that he has gotten the power to save his friends. I think that we will see him saving someone this arc - I do not believe it is Kuma. ... but someone...else...

Forgot to mention that he AGAIN misses a perfect fodder killshot. In fact uses the massive attack to get him into speaking distance, only to throw him back at Whitebeard (the safest place he could be).

I think the issue is we are so close to the endgame and we treat Kuma like he's any other side character. I can imagine they "cant" travel the world until the world is fully liberated. If Kuma survives, I cant imagine him sitting around doing nothing. Either he goes back to Dragon as a commander or he joins Luffy imo.

The latter makes far more sense at this point considering his ties to Nika. Theres also the fac that no living character save for Law and the crew has gotten this deep of a flashback. Kuma is even more fleshed out that most of the crew at this rate.

Also, consider this scene with the dialogue from his father:
How many chapters do you think there's left? 50? lol

Honestly, I don't see Kuma joining without Bonney tagging along. I could see both joining together.

Man, I don’t want to point out the obvious but the characters below sadly won’t be able to join the crew:

- Bonney
- Borsalino (Kizaru)
- Carrot
- Caribou
- Lucci
- Stussy

The reason?

Their name has the same first letter as the existing Straw Hat Pirates!

The likes of Vivi, Kuma, and Yamato still has a chance though

:optimistic::funky:
Kuma also just still plainly fits the very old DF number theory where he is referenced in the SBS directly and Oda *nervously* ignores it lol. Unironically, he's the only major character outside of Law that has gotten a FB like the rest of the later crew members. Carrot/Yamato, etc never got anything like this. This isnt even Bonney's FB, its Kuma's

The Devil Fruit number theory was disproven when Luffy’s devil fruit was revealed to be the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika
