What i meant was that Israel doesn't have a big Arab/Palestinian population in their territory to cleanse them and that genocide is a better term for what is going on.I don't have a horse on this race,but Israel is committing genocide.

The definition says that the destruction can be partial.Again,6 million jews got off screened in ww2 and yet we still have millions of them alive and well.Going by that logic it wasn't a genocide since jews were not utterly destroyed.

2. Indiscriminately killing of Palestinians. The IDF does evacuation notices, roof knocks etc. In a genocide none of this would be necessary because the goal is to get rid off as much a you can. In Gaza. We now know that their is a volontary ethnical cleansing that is helped by the dehumanization of the population. Added to that the Israelian assertion that the population of Gaza is not innocent and that every terrorist must be eradicated.. you have the germs of the genocide which is happening under our eyes.
This is a genocide, an ethnical cleansing and a colonization. This must be denounced as such if we want to end this war and juge the culprit.
Authoritarism can indeed be capable of genocide. Weither you can call that leftism is more debatable on a political bases.
I feel like if the Palestinian cause got even a modicum of support from the western powers that israel did, they wouldn’t be nearly as radical or bloodthirsty.
Like imagine if the US offered funds and weapons to Hamas under the conditions that they strictly go after military targets, and they significantly moderate some of their more extreme elements.
I think Hamas would take that offer.
Ultimately Hamas rapes and kills civilians because it doesn’t matter. Any resistance on their part is viewed as terrorism by the west. Any crimes israel commits are ignored. If they are going to be obliterated anyways, why not take more Israelis down with them out of spite?
