It's fine if you don't like it, but Nika was teased as far back as Skypiea and then in Thriller Bark Oda speaking about Luffy being Dragon's son, means Oda probably had Kuma seeing Luffy as Nika planned out.
It's fine to hate Gear 5 and Nika because it is a very contoversial decision, but there are a lot of panels from Skypiea that proves Luffy has been set up as a true god who frees people fighting false gods who enslave people.
Everyone is praying for god to save them, and Luffy saves them while shouting "Let the sun shine!"

g5 is broken but not as broken as kizaru's, fujitora's, Law's or even Bigmom's......they don't have such drawbacks....and Oda puts drawbacks because later to improve otherwise g4 itself is broken to some extent.....the fact that awakening drains too much is what he needs to overcome and only after mastering that he can use awakening for longer periods and haki drain is bullshit concept when haki is literally willpower....g4 drains haki eventhough visually it doesn't look like Luffy massively using haki...

Thanks for proving my point....Luffy uses the fruit in his "own" way....that gives him drawbacks and he masters it his "own" way to later overcome that drawbacks....

It is the Oda's way of telling that Luffy gets multiple chances because only he can take them down....and he also tells that any number x 0 = 0 in his word.....and asspulls are because he created asspull drawbacks to Luffy....

And Luffy was meant to be Sun God from the very beginning.
Oda said Nika has ridiculous power but for some reason he is holding back Nika's true power..
Nika has cartoon power. He is inspired from Jerry.
I don't see any reason why Luffy couldn't have just turn Kaido into ball and kicked him into space...

This rivalry literally keep the fanbase across countries active, yet some wish to make the other feel very bad. What will happen if the abuse is too much and people leave? Enstranged children do not come to save the parent like sanji, they piss on the graves of their parents and say their names in disdain.
Animators, directors grew up just like us. They should be conscious of their power and responsiblity they hold. This glimmer of fire will drenched by a sea of despair if one group is to get their way. Their must be a balance.
