Kizaru is the fight where Luffy could fight alone and even there, he failed to do anything to casual Kizaru for the entire fight except the last hit. Saturn is a fight where he cant fight alone and he will get help. Kuma is already starting to beat Saturn up, they might gang up on him together and Sanji can help them too probably once he gets out of stare-diff lockdown.

I forget who it was (may have been Extravlad) but I think someone legitimately believes that Saturn will turn Kuma into Nika to defeat him, thus making Luffy beating him unnecessary.

Edit: Nevermind, I think he made a typo at first but meant Bonney would turn him into Nika.
Still retarded, it's just a bit less retarded than Saturn doing it.

The thing is, it’s too early for a gorosei to fall.

we’ve seen literally this exact same story format in WCI. Where you have two antagonists: Kata and BM. BM is the main antagonist but Kata is the one Luffy actually fights.

It’s literally the same thing with Saturn and Kizaru.

Oda already gave us two ways in which Saturn will be stalled. First by Kuma, then by the giant robot.

you also have the mother flame reactor, which could be this arc’s wedding cake

The thing is, nobody could do shit to Big Mom.
In fact they barely faced her most of the arc, they just spent their time running away.
Here everyone's trying to jump at Saturn. And Luffy is being built up to beat Saturn here.

Nobody’s trying to defeat Saturn. The SHs are also trying to run away here.

Sanji only tried to fight him because he had Bonney. Now Kuma is here to face him. Once Kuma inevitably does damage to him and causes Saturn to loosen his grip, everyone will just run away, like they planned.
