The worst gen are going to be where the next pirate king come from which is why Blackbeard will be the last before Luffy becomes the pirate King, but Buggy’s not like that. He’s someone who has grown with luffy every step of the way.

When Luffys crew got stronger over a Timeskip, Buggy’s crew became a warlord crew by gaining so many prisoners and hajrudins team. When luffys crew became a yonko crew, Buggy’s crew became an emperor crew because of mihawk and crocodile. All that’s left is for when Luffys crew becomes a PK crew Buggy’s crew will become the rulers of the world when Imu aligns with them.

I mean it could also just forshadow Blackbeard losing the PK seat and then becoming a reluctant ally in the EoS lol. This doesnt really tell us anything. The fact that Imu is the last antagonist still hidden in design, tied to the void century and One Piece, and has 4 other subordinates comparable to Saturn (who is clearly the leading force in Egghead) and the God Knights who are seemingly a comparable force to the RA, makes him overwhelmingly likely to be the Final Antagonist.

Likely Saturn and Kizaru fall in Egghead, and next we move onto Akainu, Blackbeard and Shanks (in whatever order, together or separate) before Imu.

Blackbeard: First mention in Drum Arc,Anti-Luffy/Roger,named after one,if not the most well known IRL Pirate.And yes,i use that argument since i saw him in drum back in the early 2000.I mean,its obv.Its a Manga about Pirates

Shanks: Ruffys Idol,more or less shown as a "good" pirate but recently shown as your "normal" pirate.Would most likely be the biggest twist in this manga

I think Buggy was always in Oda's early plans too, remember Zolo was Buggy's crew member in the early designs later Oda decides to add Zolo to Luffy's crew.

Ironically, Mihawk ended up as Buggy crew member in the end instead

How do you think Oda will handle Zolo's last opponents?

If final Zolo opponent is Mihawk then it doesn't make sense since Cross Guild should be the final opponents then.

The order should be: either should be Mihawk or Nusjuro first, though Nusjuro might fall to someone else, and lastly Awakened Shiryu, we see Awakened Lucci is fighting equally with Zolo right now, Awakened Shiryu should be another level.

Imu might have a connection with whoever was Teach's and Xebec's ancestor as well, not only with Joy Boy. That 3 posters he was cutting was probably 3 reincarnations, we already know Shirahoshi and Luffy are reincarnations, Teach is most likely as well. Teach is also the only person who can use 2 DFs at the same time and he never sleeps, thats still a bigger mystery than Imu.

It’s only become more apparent that the WG are the overarching antagonists of the story. Even the last remaining antagonist Yonko was trying to join the WG, lmao!

The One Piece is just the start, even the Ancient Weapons will be needed to finally put an end to the 800 year tyranny of Imu.

And besides all that, One Piece is simply at its best when dealing with the WG. It’s no secret that the most beloved arcs of OP include the WG…and even with Egghead unfinished you’ll find folks saying it’s already better than Wano.
