trans man* and from Poland so until i will fall on a white raven of an employer everyone denied my apps. I kind of live on money after my dad who died a couple of years ago and until i study and I'm not 26 I can still hold on it. Obviously, I take side geeks like art commissions and still looking after some cash like selling stuff on conventions it is still- yeah... 
but tho bigger worry for me rn is collecting referrals to public clinics so i wouldn't pay that horrendous amount for all the tests needed to get testosterone which is not cheap as well. that endocrinology and internist doc is from private clinic as well so wish my wallet luck. there's so much stuff to still get around like documents and to not get pushed under a train for even having rainbow socks or a pin (they were cases like that, and not once i even entered to shop and i felt aura that one wrong move or word and my face get's smashed against a ladder, but at least on my side of the country it is not as bad as it used to)
but still: they can spit and throw slurs at me and i can't do shit, and getting a job is a joke

I know it’s easier said than done, but maybe things would be better if you left.
Because at least from my limited understanding , Poland seems to be a very far right country.
I’m sure there are probably more LGBT friendly places in the EU that would be better.
Regardless, that’s probably a massive endeavor in of itself and you shouldn’t have to leave your country just to be treated like a human being.

Because I'm seeing this forum as what it is, a gate toward the community of One Piece. I'm part of this community, so I consider that I should not let it rot and become something terrible. Problem : People are using One Piece to spread problematic rethoric, sometimes just toxic, sometimes sexists, sometimes transphobic and sometimes antisemitic.
But I believe that if one of the most toxic forum of One Piece can becomes a barrier against those behavior, then the rest of the community can be strenghtened and better because of it.
More and more people will get into One Piece just like more and more people will pass through this forum.. and One Piece is a political story, meaning that it can also be used for political and problematic agendas as mention above. This is why this section is important and this is also why showing that there is a contradiction in the hearth of the most toxic place of the community against toxic and bigoted ideologies is foundamental.
The more times goes, the more people will arrive and the more inclusive the fanbase will become.. at the condition that we keep a close watch on toxic behaviors.
As long as they stay in the limit of ethic, I'm cool with that
We live in an era where there are at least three genocides happening in real time and the mainstream media is covering none of it properly. We also are on a forum dedicated on a story that talk about the impact and the monstruosity of genocides and the problem of shutting down the informations and the importance of raising awareness about the truth...
We are in the perfect place to talk about those subjects and create a link fiction and reality.
With great powers comes great responsibilities.

Closest thing you get to consequences here(usually) is having a random dude call you evil or something for daring to disagree with him. In this thread alone I was called a conservative, right winger, leftist, libertarian, liberal and communist. All with negative connotation.
Sad and pathetic that this happens all the time and I say good riddance when it does. People aren't allowed to debate anymore and have to conform with whatever is popular or trendy.

Maybe I need to find new ways to meet people. most of the people I’m friends with are people that I’ve met through Jewish events.
They’re cool people, nice enough to hang out with every other week.
But I know for a fact it would cause a lot of problems if I showed them exactly how critical I am of the state of Israel.
And like that’s fine. Not everyone needs to be your BFF. Not everyone needs to understand you.
Some people you just interact with because they are there and you are lonely. Then eventually things change and you never see them again.

Stuff like this is why I hardly talk to a lot of my friends irl about Israel/Palestine.
There’s deadass a cult around the state of Israel. The one state solution is literally just a solution where Israel, which is occupying the West Bank and Gaza, just give’s Palestinians equal rights to Jewish Israelis and lets them return to lands they were expelled from in 1948.
I think the one state solution is an idealistic and impractical one, but the fact people get so offended at the thought their friend would support it, it’s ridiculous.

aye, i not once thought about moving but first i would need certificates for my English level to find job abroad and before dad died i was preparing for one since i wanted to study abroad to have a quicker start in that plan. by far i plan to make for sure for c1 at least the english and maybe german as i used to be quite good in it, but now i forgot much of the words

BUT i can have pepper spray or taser, but a buckle of keys saved me not once, works kinda like a knuckle caster with claws. combat boots with metal in it as well, i have in my collection even motorcycle boots, heavy af but kick with it and opponent lies (i used to train karate and only thing from it what i remember where how to make stable kicks

There is no greater equalizer than a firegun. And I'm not even talking about using it. People who think you MAY have will already think at least twice before doing anything against you. There is a reason why all dictatorships prohibits population from having guns.
But well martial arts and legally weapons is always nice to have since you can't have fireguns. And I feel the same about not having it. Even if it was legally where I live I don't feel like owning one. Perhaps this could change in the near future of course.
