The way I see it is Vegapunk is there to help Sanji to the next level. This Kizaru fight is the perfect test bed laboratory. Look at it this way:

Ceasar - Didn't witness Sanjis powers
Judge - Created Sanjis science powers
Queen - Perfected some of Judges powers, was able to gauge Sanjis abilities up close
Vegapunk - Is conveniently at front row witnessing Sanjis powers

As we already know the above four are - most likely in order - the "worst" to the best scientists in the world. We can thus expect Vegapunk to enhance Sanji in some way the others couldn't.
The creator of the Pacifista and and Seraphim will take a good look at Sanji and unlock his true potential through science.

And by doing so Luffy will finally gain two quite equal wings. It will feel a bit unfair for Zoro fans that their character trained his way up and Sanji was gifted his way up but that's the way it will be.

Sanji is indeed at least 1 upgrade short, to match Zoro's black blade.

I expect the final level will be something like this in terms of bounty which should be a kind of strength indicator but not the entire truth as none-captains don't get the same bounty as captains. I fully expect EoS Zoro to be stronger than Big Mom for example

Luffy - 5.6B (GoMu)
Zoro - 3.6B (just above Mihawk)
Sanji - 3 (San)

I hope he gets good speed feats.
Best scenario: he does better than Snakeman, his speed somewhat able to catch that of G5 and Kizaru, putting an end to Sanji vs King's debate in favor of Sanji.
Worst scenario: Sanji getting fodderized after all the cool beginning.

But overall Luffy will carry and deal with both Saturn and Kizaru, what Sanji has good Is his insane durability and speed, I don't think he'll do much damage to Kizaru, but he can protect himself really good and stall if he's as strong as I believe, letting Luffy doing the damage

This arc i have read Zoromongs say:
Zoro no diffs Kaku (Kaku > Lucci)
Zoro Kills Kizaru
After these two disappeared it became
Zoro no diffs Lucci (because they already put their chips on Kaku stronger than Lucci)

So far they are at 0, but deflect cry and do the usual baby theatrics they have made us used to.

Zoro struggles with Lucci (who Luffy no diffs) and Sanjino is fighting Kizaru.
Another sad day for fan of mister "no arcs or character developmen in the post TS" Zolo
