The strawhats are already fanboys/girls. They love their fucking captain. Some of you people really have been reading two piece. Luffy losing Ace showed how much they love their fucking captain. Yes, he is goofy as shit, not smart, reckless, and daredevil; he will eat them out of house and home, spend all the money on banquet parties, and drive some of them crazy because he wants to go to dangerous places. Yet, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brooke, and Jinbe love their captain, and he loves them.

If it was all set up between the two, then probably. I think it makes for a much better plotline, for the two, to have been in on it together the whole time.

Also, if Punk Records is Vegapunks brain, plus he has his clones, can he really be considered dead? If Kizaru truly wanted to "Kill Vegapunk" then doesn't he need to destroy every bit of him? So far, he's only been concerned with the main body, and has paid no interest to Vegapunks other vessels, or his brain.

Probably wishful thinking, but I'd much rather this be the case.

I've just realised something very important, it's not mentioned in the full summary, but what if the vegapunk that appears on the screen in the punk record is a previously recorded footage and it was peogrammed to start broadcasting when vegapunk died.
