I'm working part-time while maintaining my status as a full-time student. The money isn't spectacular, but enough to pay some bills and have enough left over after breaking even with my monthly budget. I'm also relying on my savings from working during undergrad, so I can't complain; it's all part of the long game.

Anyway, fascinating thread. Do make sure to provide us with as much information as possible about your financial background. :gotres:

For many years I worked hand to mouth, and a few times I've been beyond broke but now I make enough to live comfortably. Bills are paid with some money left over. I'm very grateful for it. I work in Physical Therapy and I'm very glad I went into this field, pay is good and jobs are plenty. It's not stressful like previous jobs were. Also, it's rewarding to help people.

paramedic here, £40k roughly, so about 50k american, plus some money on bitcoin (£3k last year), savings account generates about 2k give or take, and this year my sister and I will be renting out an inherited family home but it's unclear how much we'll make on that. It's difficult to say how much I earn after tax because I have an accountant go through each year and pretty much every year I get owed some money.

Unless I come into millions I'm not sure my life would change with more money. E.g. an extra 20k per year I would possibly convert my garage into a gym, no idea but likely it would all go into savings.

It's just such a personal question, and being poor, comfy or even well off depends on which State you live in. Where I live, I'm middle class @ 92K a yr to answer your inquiry.
Never understood why is that such a personal question to people.

I like how no one mentions their salary. It’s either « I’m poor » or « comfy I am ».
Well it all depends where you live, I live in Croatia, my pay is 2000 euros (around 2100-2200) dollars, that in this country is very very good pay wheres in USA would be low af.
