Yes but pets are a human's possession, they are not their own beings. Even in the good old horde days ppl would have their still living dogs killed when the person died so they can be buried with their favourite dogs.
Domestic animals are at our disposal while wild animals only deserve respect when they have the power to kill us. Nature is our playground .

I said that from a historical perspective many things that go against our modern sensitivities were the norm. I was not talking about my personal feelings towards killing small animals for no reason.

I’ll just say this, killing a 14 month old puppy because it turns out to be misbehaving and a little bit aggressive is wrong and unjustifiable. She could’ve easily given the dog away.

Her angry and negative feelings towards the dog have more weight than its life therefore her reaction is justified. Giving the dog away like any person with empathy would, would have deprived her of the sadistic satisfaction of ending a life with her own hands. Everyone who has killed once will agree that there is no feeling like it.

In india they don’t kill dogs so they roam the streets in little gangs.

They’re mostly friendly, much more so than dogs I’ve met in America. But I have still heard stories of these street dogs attacking children on occasion. Maybe due to rabies or something.

tbh I enjoyed seeing the street dogs when I visited India. They were nice little fellas.
