We get Imu looking at the poster of Lily every time it's mentioned that the War is still on going, and he already mentioned before that he is angry because the reason it does is due to her "mistake" which actually was intentional/betrayal, so the Nefertari plot will be led by that through Vivi(her descendant) most likely



Interesting that Akainu already knew about that part of the story tho. Guess the theory that you're revealed the truth when you become fleet admiral or higher is turning out to be closer to the truth. Sengoku(former fleet admiral) seemed to know the truth and he also got a reaction this chapter



The fact that Akainu knows, but is still working for the government shows that at least him and Greenbull will be government soldiers until the end



With the new marines likely led by Fujitora, taking over later



@TheAncientCenturion this chapter confirms what I told you. The only Crocodile is relevant again is due to the Ancient Weapon plot. :kayneshrug:That's why he got a panel reaction when the ancient weapons were mentioned

Vegapunk basically just told Crocodile that Buggy knows everything about the Ancient Weapons, so he's going to go torture it out of him. He at least knows about Posiedon, and possibly Pluton from Oden. Which could mean Cross Guild vs. BB Pirates in the future?

About the Roger pirates thing, they simply couldn't do anything due to multiple reasons

- As Vegapunk said, the battle is resolving around Ancient weapons, and as Roger said, they came too early especially considering Poseidon(Shirahoshi) wasn't even born yet

- Roger's illness didn't allow him to potentially wait / continue his journey. That's why he was hoping his son / next one would take over

Vegapunk is funny tho.

Some interesting points being made about the Roger pirates. I doubt they had the man power and the strength to topple the World Government though, it would've been a suicide mission.
Roger did the right thing by inspiring the next generation.
