He basically has the perfect quirk, 0 drawbacks if used well.

Bakugo quirk is really good, Shoto quirk is awesome but not miles ahead of Baku. Explosions are dangerous and really versatile.
But what makes it awesome is Bakugo : the guy is a genius, a genius in fighting, a genius at school, with a will through the roof etc. Shoto is good but Bakugo is something else.
But yeah Shoto will 100% become a monster too in the future

Yes, because for the sake of plot, Horikoshi kinda make shoto less useful even though he had that OP quirk.

Shoots quirk can make explosion himself. He basically has bakugos quirk as something he can just do.

Ofc bakugo is a fighting genius Way better than both midoriya and todoroki but these two have the better quirks.
Todo can probably reach absolute zero temperatures by using his fire quirk in tandem. He can bypass durability like aokiji does. Or he goes super heat. Or makes explosions.
Back then he was making an ice structure almost as big as the stadium. And he grew a lot then and he can still grow now.
He has super fast reaction times, was able to tag midoriya in the tournament and was reacting to faster opponents so I guess he is fast too if he can tag them.
