Conan has an overarching plot which is dragged out for over 1100 chapters and sometimes the cases have nothing to do with it. I enjoy it regardless cuz it's fun to try solving them before the reveal, but the timeline is also messed up cuz the MC is still 17 and meanwhile there were like 10 Christmas parties and 10 summer vacations lmfao. It just feels like the author could just let Conan turn back into Shinichi and still draw the murder mysteries after the Black Orga stuff is done while Shinichi grows up.

That's why I dropped it. The kids in the show never grow back. Nothing else in that world really changes. It's a static world instance.

@Flower @Alpha LMAO Conan and Ippo are 100x worse than One Piece when it comes to blueballing, stalling and pacing. One Piece is actually a fast paced story but people won't hear me out

@RebelliousSoma Totally understand people dropping Conan, it's episodic case files at this point. I read it for the fun investigations not the main "plot" since that will never conclude. It's too big of a cash cow to actually resolve and end the series.
