Only a bunch? Dude, that country has millions of evangelicals and its the only big christian denomination in the US that is actually growing, and yes, a good chunk of them are this extremist and part of the MAGA movement aswell that they do want this.
And i'm not even talking about them being able to change the constiution officially in such ways unless Trump and his cronies declare themselves as Dictators and somehow succeed cause of the existence of filibuster alone (gl getting 60+ seats in Senate with how polarized this country is between 2 parties), it would honestly be enough if they bring this topic to the supreme court. US democracy isn't as fullproof as some of you still apparently believe.
Girl if you hang out with these circles you'd know that only few of them have any appetite for the so called theocracy.
Hence why many churches is closing down
Other's are just being reactionary against what they think it's an extreme woke., Christianity just a tool
I'd argue that White ethno state or White Centric United States is LOT more possible than any theocracy.
Christianity in US too divided too form a single unit
After all Millions of Christo immigrants from south America still getting demonized 24/7.
Many prominent evangelicals/conservatives still have resentment towards Blacks and refuse to see them as equal despite behind co-religionist etc
And There's too much checks of power in US for Trump to be any kind of dictator
.
Classic US constitution is perfectly compatible with White supremacism not theocracy
You need to see a bigger picture and that is the case in the rest of the world as well.
It's more of NATIVIST uprising than religious revival.
The normies might seem to be that for you but the elites are pure racial supremacist
