Pretty sure , Jonudule and other will just jump on that train.
They don't have any real argument if you look at it properly. They just don't wanna accept it.
It's like Sanji Getting AdCoC + AdCoO + AdCoA + Kizaru fruit in the next chapter.
Zori fans just couldn't accept that shit to explain why this was shit writing cuz just in chapter it happened.
At first, Nami was supposed to have Zoro's role. In Oda's previous drafts, Nami had a mechanical arm with an axe iirc, so she was meant to be the navigator and fighter of this true.
Zoro was intented to be Buggy's underling but it was later changed because he was meant to be the Ryuma in One Piece, essentially the Nr. 2 MC.
So now, the deuteragonist got split between Zoro and Nami.

I mean, it is one thing to dislike the character which is pretty fine. It's also fine if Zoro gets downplayed, alright.
But nothing makes sense to deny him being the deuteragonist of this story. Law received some higher plot relevance because he was introduced to be Luffy's strongest ally when it comes to beating Kaido. Law was also one of the top 5 supernova, along with Kidd. That's why both got greater roles, Law even far more. Is Law a better deuteragonist than Kidd? Nope, their role just largely ended now since they lost the PK race. At this point, Luffy is no longer allied to Law and Kidd as all 3 went their own way.
However, Zoro will always, ALWAYS, stay the Nr. 2 in Luffy's crew, always his closest comrade, always will be.
Ofc he is irreplacable. Do you think the future WSS is replacable in any sort of way? Who's gonna take his role? Law? He isn't even a conqueror yet. Kidd? He is already a failed rival of Luffy who already lost the PK game. It's like saying Chopper is replacable by Law, it's irrational nonsense bro.
Yes, he needs the entire crew in fact. You also ignore that there wouldn't be technically a new PK crew if Zoro didn't decide to sacrifice himself for Luffy in Thrillerbark.
He doesn't have to.
Everyone other than Nami and Robin can die and Luffy still will be PK. It's such a bad argument. Did Roger need Rayleigh?
Zoro is the rational head of this crew and it needs him in dire situations. It was proven so many times, I don't want to explain everything of that again.
Neither does he need Sanji, Usopp, Chopper, Franky, Brook and Jimbei. Only Nami and Robin are truly needed.
Again, this is just a bad argument. Yes, Zoro is the fighter in this crew and he doesn't actively have functions to make it easier for Luffy to reach the last island but so what? Luffy needs his closest aid, his right hand man. Every crew has a right hand man. Killer is a broken man who cannot even control his laughter, does Kidd still need him? What's about Bepo? At least Zoro has constantly Luffy's back. That's his role and it will never change. It was in chapter 2 like that and now in chapter 1120 till the end.
Come on, the moment Oden arrived, Rayleigh had no relevance when it comes to helping Roger becoming the PK.
Yes, but both Roger and Rayleigh are mirrored versions of Luffy and Zoro.
