Only Ghandi really displayed some combat skill by blocking Zoro and clashing with him but thats about the extent of it.

Its too soon to say they are bad fighters lol.

AdCoC can bypass durability, but I don't it is as effective when pitted against high level hardening.

Haki vs haki is tricky. From what we've seen, if your haki is weaker than your opponents, then the damage mitigated is lessened. The one with the stronger haki prevails.

In all instances of AdCoC, that we've seen, it's alway combined with CoA. In theory, if someone is using next level hardening, they should be able to fend off an AdCoC attack, as that level of hardening should be much more difficult for CoC to penetrate and be as effective as it can be.

Luffy is gearing up to have maxed out haki come EoS. Acquiring next level hardening should be coming up pretty soon for him, as this is now the second time he's come across it.

Lucci, luffy, ...all are at their peak when using awakened mode

When did you see zoan form have dark clouds and awakened features around it?

If they can't be great at their peak (awakened state) ,then they simply suck
