Why does Zeff know so damn much about Mihawk? He's like Mihawk's #1 fanboy? His father? His old enemy?
He seems pretty familiar with Mihawk's weapon, modus operandi, personality, and reputation.

When we meet them, Zeff and Sanji had been at the Baratie for about 9 years. Sanji was 10 when he was stranded with Zeff, and he’s 19 pre-timeskip.
The Cook Pirates’ Grand Line trip must have taken place at least 10 years ago (pre-timeskip). Mihawk would have been 31. There’s a very good chance that Zeff either encountered Mihawk himself back then or at least heard a great deal about what he was capable of.
If so, Zeff’s logbook probably has those stories! 👀👀👀
