So let me get this straight, in the final panel of Vegapunk’s speech, where Oda establishes the major players of those who will be going after One Piece, Oda decides to feature characters like Imu, Dragon, Saint Shanks, Akainu, Aokiji, Blackbeard, etc…

…but not Mihawk.

You literally have to be reading a different series to think Oda cares about Mihawk as much as sword swallowers do.

Mihawk has no interest in the one piece. Not new information.

I love this so much, King would be so wasted if he never came back.

Kaido, King, Queen are some of the best fighters in terms of versatility and backstory we have, and none of them got their backstory fully fleshed out at all.

King's fighting style is just awesome.

Bruh am beyond hyped for Kuzan. He's probably got the most ambigious position among the characters featured in the spread and this confirms that whatever his move will be most definitely will impact the course of the war in a big way

Anyway, if the translation of Vegapunk's last line is accurate there, that list of character should specifically be about who will claim the One Piece, in which case it's rather interesting that characters like Koby, Sabo, and Garling are in there. At least, that'd be what basic "story language" would be telling us, though I'm not sure if Oda is really doing it intentionally for the whole lineup there - probably not.
