Even if I agree that there is no problem here, I consider that blasphemy is a weapon to use carefully. In Europe, we can't treat Islam like we treat christianity, muslim are in a situation of oppression so we must stay careful.
On the other hand, in Islamic countries like Iran for example, we can't treat other religions like we treat Islam. For the same exact reason.
Etc.. for others country with different religious formation.
Where there is oppression, blasphemy must not become a weapon to oppress even more. On the other hand where there is hegemony, its a good tool to raise questions.

Around 20 nations are run by the left in Latin America, a couple turned into full blown dictatorships, some became authoritatian regimes. I don't consider Brazil a free nation anymore. Popular demand means shit now. Supreme Courte breaks the law everyday, the federal police and Army are with them.

It is sad how the modern day movement is just making people more right wing. So much self sabotage and pushing the obtaining of rights back decades. The left constantly tries to paint everything as black n' white and force you to choose between an all or nothing package, which of course, most choose nothing since some of the shit is unacceptable.

You overestimate the capacity of religion to understand and accept critic through blasphem which is - by the way - a religious term that only applies when religious people talk about it.
There is no insult against anyone. There is a form of irrespect against an institution and not against people.
You would be right to feel insult if the critic was coming in a context of oppression or obsession or if people who believe were targeted, but this is not the case here.

I think the problem in latin america is a little bit more complicated than just "the left is the problem". Those are countries with high degrees of corruption, where oppositions are armed to the teeth and that are heavily sanctionned by the US who wants their ressources.
The religious critic through caricature (what people call blasphemy) has nothing to do with the law. It should be possible everywhere without conditions.
That said. Its not because it is permitted that we must use it without consideration.
In France, for example, Muslim are systematically attacked (by the system, the institutions, people, the power, the medias, pretty much every strats of society). So.. what is happening when we create blasphemy and attack the religion blindly in those conditions ?

1-Institutions are made up of people. Those people insulted every Christian. Death threats are immoral and illegal, but if you do shit like that, the crazies will go after your ass.
2-The problem with Latin America IS exactly the LEFT. Decades ago, Communists tried coups and enganged in Guerrila Warfare in multiple nations in Latin America. The Modern day gun/drug/organized crime problem is a heritage from this period. Most of the left abandoned the idea of armed revolution, but did not abandon the idea of imposing a communist regime. They are achieving that through elections. They were sucessfull and most nations down here are neck deep into socialism. Cuba became a full blown communist dictatorship. Colombia is run by drug lords. Venezuela is a dictatorship. Brazil is under judicial dictatorship. Mexico is run by fucking drug cartels. Only a handful of nations down here don't have any of these problems. The situation in Africa is similar. American and Europpean private interests are the smallest of our problems. This place is run by Russia and China.

I'm not optimistic about Argentina. Milei is a weird case. He won an impossible election. Sounds like a Trojan Horse. I will wait his rule to end before judging.
Tensions are very high rn in the Middle East, Israel just targeted Beirut with an airstrike targeted at a top Hezbollah leader. A lot of talks have happened over the past few days to make sure the Israeli strikes on Lebanon dont reach Beirut after the Majdal Shams blast, but it seems that was thrown out of the window.
Now we wait for Hezbollah's response.
